Adams

Dr. Lynnette “The Joy Architect” Adams is the Founder and Chief Joy Officer of The Joy Lab Inc., where she leads the vision, strategy, and culture for a joy-centered, human-first organization dedicated to helping people lead with purpose, reclaim their sovereignty, and thrive. A scholar-practitioner of joy, she created The Formula for Joy™ to demonstrate that joy is not a perk or an afterthought—it’s a leadership strategy and an organizational framework. Her work centers on joy-centered leadership, emotional safety, and building spaces where people feel seen, supported, and fully themselves.

Lynnette holds a PhD in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University and has spent her career in nonprofit leadership, higher education, and program design. She has taught nonprofit leadership as an adjunct professor and has designed retreats, leadership cohorts, and wellness experiences that make room for brilliance and belonging.

At The Joy Lab Inc., she oversees program design, retreats, speaking and training experiences, and partnerships, ensuring every offering reflects care, purpose, and possibility. Her mission is to make joy the standard, not the reward—so leaders don’t have to choose between impact and sovereignty.
