Program
A fully funded, year-long leadership journey for young adults who want to serve, create, and lead with joy.
Some people are natural culture-shifters. They’re the ones organizing, encouraging, starting things, and quietly making spaces better. The Ignite Joy League Ambassador Program was created for them.
This is a full-paid, 12-month experience for young adults ages 19–23 to get trained, resourced, and positioned to lead joy-centered work in their communities.
What It Is
Each year, only 10 Ambassadors are selected through a competitive application process. We welcome diverse paths — students, young professionals, creatives, organizers, and those still clarifying their next move. What matters is purpose, passion, and the courage to lead with joy.
Ambassadors become part of the Joy Ecosystem: they travel, learn, serve, and co-create programs with The Joy Lab Inc. while earning an official Ignite Joy Ambassador certification.
What Ambassadors Do
1. Ignite Joy Retreat (in-person launch)
Travel to a restorative destination for multi-day leadership immersion. Learn the Formula for Joy™, build cohort trust, and map out your impact plan.
2. Monthly Virtual Check-Ins
Live sessions for coaching, accountability, and community building.
3. Skill-Building Workshops
Required virtual trainings in facilitation, communication, youth engagement, project planning, and storytelling.
4. Service & Internship Experience
Support real Joy Lab work — planning the Youth Summit, helping with social media, or co-facilitating Ignite Joy youth spaces.
5. $5,000 Leadership Stipend
Ambassadors receive a $5,000 stipend across the program year to support their leadership journey, service learning, and professional development needs.
What You Leave With
By the end of the year, Ambassadors earn the title Joy Strategist, along with:

certification in joy-centered leadership

hands-on facilitation experience

a stronger resume and portfolio of real projects

a network of mentors and peers

the confidence to lead youth and community spaces
How It’s Funded
This program is fully funded for Ambassadors. Participants are not expected to pay.
Organizations, companies, and community partners can sponsor an Ambassador seat or specific program elements to keep the pathway accessible.
